P90X exhaustive guide and review; thoughts and opinions of a P90x’er graduate
So you’re thinking of P90X eh? Well I hope this guide can be of help to you.
When I purchased P90X, I never knew it to be the buzz word in the personal fitness world for the last couple years. So I was quite surprised that when I announced my adventure into throw-up land, many of my friends shared similar experiences of cold sweats, light-headedness and the occasional nausea.
P90X results video
Hi everyone! Four days off from doing P90X and I’m feeling anxious to start all over again already. It’s been recommended to take a break after P90X for at least a week. The only exercise I’ve done so far has been the Fit Test to get some solid numbers for comparison. That’ll be posted up along with the full review and breakdown next time for those of you who’ve been asking me questions.
For now, here’s a results video I put together.
P90X: Week 13/13

Tools of the Trade: Sturdy Chair. This chair kept me company in pull-up land, plyometrics and all those whacky reverse/decline pushups.
You’ve got to get up every morning with determination if you’re going to go to bed with satisfaction.

P90X: Week 12/13

Tools of the Trade: Body Fat Monitor. Extremely handy in making sure you're not under/over eating calories. I redeemed some Airline Miles points from Cathay Pacific and they sent me this Japanese readout machine. Fortunately, the manual has English subtexts.
Kill…Kill…Kill. The. Hill.” (You say the words to match your feet hitting the ground, and it creates a rhythm for you to fall into. A little violent, but hey, it works.)

Day 78: I found the quote of the week to be funny and true. Too many times during a workout between catching my breath and wiping the sweat stinging my eyes, I’ll find myself mumbling under my breath, “Kill. Kill. Kill. The. Pain.” Unfortunately, the pain from my shoulder is just too much today, so instead of giving up and not doing anything, I’m switching up the schedule for this week so I get some recovery time today and tomorrow; basically, I’m pushing back a day with all my routines and using up next Saturday’s rest day for today.

P90X: Week 11/13

Tools of the Trade: Heart Rate Monitor. Ever since I've been using it, I've been able to gauge whether I'm in the right zone for maximum calorie burning or not. The red stress ball is for the 'Sports' section of Plyometrics.
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you’ll find an excuse.
