An exercise in taking self inventory
2011′s almost over, and so it’s time again for me to take a quick inventory of this year’s accomplishments (and failed ones) and next year’s agenda.
SUCCESSES
- Exercise and yoga regularly
- Create a private music station similar to soundcloud/amazonmusic accessible with any device that has an internet connection
- Peruse public transportation more often
FAILS
- Blog more often
- Hike at least twice a month
NEXT IMMEDIATE GOAL
- Minimize my sugar and processed food intake to almost zero and consume a lot more greens
A quick search reveals the best bang for your buck in eating healthier is to eat more greens. Spinach, kale and brocolli seem to be the top 3 in terms of highest nutrition per 100 grams of serving. I think Popeye was really on to something with the spinach thing.
So that’s my next immediate goal, eat something green every day until it becomes a habit (typically 28 days).
Wish me luck!
P.S. Although the above was not a definitive list, I will also be working towards my goal of being a sensible minimalist (less a consumer of unnecessary things and more a creator).
I’m a dad!?
I quickly ran through a wide range of emotions; from shock, to bewilderment, to… literally spewing my shake on my computer monitor. This must have been a mistake.

You may have noticed I haven’t been active on the blog recently. That’s because I’ve finally had enough with my web host’s quality of service. Admittedly, it is on a shared service, but having down times and constant general slowness for most of a typical day is plain unacceptable to me.
