P90X: Week 13/13 | It Starts With Ken

Tools of the Trade: Sturdy Chair. This chair kept me company in pull-up land, plyometrics and all those whacky reverse/decline pushups.

You’ve got to get up every morning with determination if you’re going to go to bed with satisfaction.

Day 85: Last recovery week and today was Yoga X. Decided to go at it before bedtime.

Day 86: Amazing how much my stamina and strength have improved. Looking back 9 week ago when I first did Core Synergistics, I could barely keep up with the pace let alone calm my gagging reflexes from the intense routines.

Day 87: Another cardio day. One thing I love with P90X is that you’re guaranteed for a sweaty workout. And I mean sweat-dripping-all-over-your-floors workout.

Day 88: Stretch X today. My flexibility has improved a lot. Touch my toes? No problem. Touch 5 inches past the soles of me feet? Sure!

Day 89: Last Core Synergistics of the week. If you’re wondering what it is, it targets your core muscle groups along with the rest of your body all at the same time.

Day 90: Limbering up one last time with the Stretch X routines.

Day 91: I just realized there’s actually 91 days to the program! Today was the last day of Yoga. It seems I ain’t much for the celebratory kind; no boxes of chocolate or burgers (although I did have some peanut M&M’s and half an Islands Burger last Thurs). :)

I’m going to run my Fit Test sometime in the next few days, along with before/after photos, notes and thoughts on P90X.
