Kill…Kill…Kill. The. Hill.” (You say the words to match your feet hitting the ground, and it creates a rhythm for you to fall into. A little violent, but hey, it works.)
Day 78: I found the quote of the week to be funny and true. Too many times during a workout between catching my breath and wiping the sweat stinging my eyes, I’ll find myself mumbling under my breath, “Kill. Kill. Kill. The. Pain.” Unfortunately, the pain from my shoulder is just too much today, so instead of giving up and not doing anything, I’m switching up the schedule for this week so I get some recovery time today and tomorrow; basically, I’m pushing back a day with all my routines and using up next Saturday’s rest day for today.
Day 79: After a heat treated massage last night, I was able to do my resistance training. I ended up giving just shy below 90%, just enough to aggravate the shoulder again.
Day 80: I know I announced earlier that I was going to postpone any workout for this week but decided to do Plyometrics in the evening instead. This turned out to be a smart move, although for the entire day I felt jittery and restless for having my daily routine flipped upside down.
Day 81: Shoulder way better today! Still a bit stiff, but not as painful like this past weekend.
Day 82: Yoga time was a bit off. Lagging more than usual with this shoulder pain.
Day 83: Took the day off. Supposed to be cardio but my shoulder just needs a bit more rest. And here I thought it was back to 100%.
Day 84: Off to a late start today. I’m doing Thursday’s routine today. Doing it late afternoon makes time go by slower.
