P90X: Week 09/13 | It Starts With Ken

I have to exercise in the morning before my brain figures out what I’m doing.
Marsha Doble

Day 57: First day of the third and last phase! A repeat of the first phase, but on every other week until day 90. Not surprisingly, this routine still kicks me in the ass.

Day 58: I’m still loving Plyometrics. Bumped up my heart rate per minute up to 155 and maxing out around 175 now.

Day 59: Feelin’ the pump today with the arms and back routine.

Day 60: I wonder if the ‘Right Triangle pose With Hands Behind the Back’ ever gets easier.

Day 61: Seeing Tony getting smacked in the face with the B-Line resistance bands never gets old.

Day 62: I’ve always wondered how it looks like to other people when I’m doing shadow boxing to what sounds like 80′s porn music. Because that’s what the DVD background music sounds like. LOL!

Day 63: Rest day. Aaahhh. I actually had my first fast food (In-N-Out) since starting P90X out of necessity. I looked upped the caloric values and was shocked at the numbers!

  • A Cheeseburger w/ grilled onions has 480 calories.
  • The fries contains a whopping 400 calories, almost the same as a burger in itself.
  • The medium sized Seven Up drink contains 200 calories.

That one meal totaled to about 1080 calories. A normal sized meal should be between 400-600 calories. But I digress. Don’t get me wrong, I still love In-N-Out. But it’s easy to over consume food (and gain the weight) as I’ve found out when you’re not aware of how many calories there is in the food you’re putting in your mouth.

You can find the rest of In-N-Out’s nutritional info here.
