P90X: Week 02/13 | It Starts With Ken

The only way to overcome is to hang in. Even I’m starting to believe that.

Day 08: The previous day of rest has done wonders for recovery. Killed it today; tough but finished clean. *ROAR*

Day 09: Second week in and my body’s adapting to the routines nicely. I only have to pause the program for a quick breath every other 5 minutes.

Day 10: Something tells me doing arm curls using your knees as support is bad for the back. Revising it to better suit me.

Day 11: Change of heart! I never thought I’d say this: Yoga rocks!

Day 12: Felt nauseous again. Eating (even if it’s a small bowl of cereal) an hour before workout seems to be a bad idea. My body told me so. On a separate topic I heard someone say, “That’s a lot of egg whites!!!” (talking about adding 4 hard boiled eggs minus the yolk to a salad). And I agree. I had to make additional servings of salad.

Day 13: My body’s enjoying this cardio workout Fridays. I’m a pool of sweat (the good kind)!

Day 14: First time doing the stretching part of the program. I feel like Gumby! And you know what’s become part of my daily lexicon? Three words: gluteal muscle soreness.
