P90X: Week 04/13
Those who think they have not time for bodily exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness.

Day 22: There’s a whole lot of yoga/stretching work for this week. Hopefully I’ll notice some noticeable difference in my flexibility.
Day 23: Recovery week’s making me want to hurl. I thought it was supposed to be easy this week.
Day 24: Consolation of the day: I can finally keep up with the Kenpo DVD 90% of the time.
Day 25: Funny line from Tony: “Tip of the day: breathe. If you don’t breathe you die”.
Day 26: I hate these other worldly push-ups!!! Ever heard of Sphinx push-ups anyone? I didn’t think so.
Day 27: I just realized all these routines have X at the end of them. Yoga X! Stretch X! Ab Ripper X! And that my friends means it’s eXtreme. I really never gave it that much thought until I tried the routines for the first time and knew right then and there this was going to be one tough 90 day program.
Day 28: Last day for the first phase. Quick stats and info:
- I’ve lost 3% body fat while actually maintaining my weight. This means I’ve lost 3.75 pounds of fat and gained the equivalent muscle mass.
- My diet approximately contains 60% protein/30% carbohydrates/10% fat. I’ll probably consider increasing my protein % to lose more body fat.
- Learning a new daily routine roughly takes me 90 minutes to complete. Once I’ve done it a few times I can finish it down to its original time to finish from 50-60 minutes.
