P90X: Preparation

Before everything else, getting ready is the secret to success.

After doing all the prerequisites (including the fitness test, body measurements, etc.), the last of the items on my list finally arrived the other day. To start the program, you essentially need the following:

  1. Scale
  2. Body tape measure
  3. Fat caliper
  4. Pull bar/pull up machine/or some place where you can do pull ups safely
  5. Weights
  6. Chair
  7. Heart rate monitor
  8. Exercise/Yoga mat

For nutrition, I’m keeping it simple with:

  1. Whey Protein
  2. A meal plan (I’m following the meal plan that goes with P90X)
  3. Multi-vitamin
